BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such ballots shall be cast and returned to the Home Office simultaneously with the return of each final L.E.C. election ballot for certification by the Ballot Certification Committee, except that the initial ballot shall be cast and returned to the Home Office not later than February 1, 1955. In tabulating the results, a majority of the votes cast for either Method #1 or Method #2 shall govern for the pilots' respective air lines, and each air line shall then be listed under its elected category, i.e. (Method #1 - Method 2). A report indicating the elected method of every air line shall be provided each member of the Association.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in mergers involving air lines whose pilots have elected to integrate such lists according to Method #1, the compilation of an integrated pilots' seniority list shall be accomplished by an application of the length of service principle. If a dispute arises as to the method of computation of the length of service credit, it shall be resolved in accordance with the aforementioned procedure.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in mergers involving air lines whose pilots have elected Method #2, or who have elected dissimilar methods of integration, the compilation of an integrated pilots' seniority list shall be accomplished through the aforementioned procedure.

*The problem of Association merger policy was considered concurrently by the Board along with the question of seniority list integration procedures, and the resolution of the Board, above stated, is equally applicable to both questions.
