Washington, D. C. 20006

Dear Mr. Levy:

Thank you for your letter of May 10, and my apologies for my tardy reply.

I am vitally interested indeed in the whole area of age retirement for professional pilots. I suspect the easiest approach would be to meet together at the end of the work day, where we can chat over a meal and then continue our discussion as long as necessary thereafter.

I shall be out of town the week of July 14 and also the weeks of August 4 and August 11. The entire week of July 1 I shall be on hospital call and probably should avoid evening commitments. Accordingly, I would suggest that we get together some evening during the week of July 8, July 22 or July 29.

I shall await word from you before making final plans.

Sincerely yours,
Earl Carter
