RE: Your letter regarding the Mandatory Age 60 Retirement.

Dear Charley:
Due to some transportation difficulties in cold weather and subsequent travel problems, I am unable to locate your letter in this regard.
However, to my best knowledge, the TWA MEC is adamently in favor of the removal of this unrealistic, arbitrary restriction that has absolutely no basis in medical fact.
Be assured that during the next MEC meeting, January 23, 24, 25, 1968, definitive action from our group will be forthcoming. I then ask you, by copy of this letter, to press for relief from this unrealistic restriction.
Yours very truly,
John F. Nevins, Chairman
TWA Master Executive Council
