A. That's right.

Q. Perhaps half a dozen times?

A. Yes.

Q. Is that what you meant when you described an additional workload on the line flight?

A. It is additional work in reference to the line flight versus doing a check.

Q. Doing a check you are busy every minute?

A. Yes, sir.

Q. The plane is changing altitude every minute?

A. Yes, sir.

Q. As a rule.

A. Yes.

Q. And it is considerably less restful if you are doing a diligent check than sitting and cruising for two hours.

A. That comes with experience. I can conduct a check with a good pilot and be completely at ease and not feel as though I have done too much work.

Q. I am not suggesting it makes you uncomfortable. But you are busy.

A. Yes.

Q. During the two-hour period that I have described, (T-262) level and cruising, after you have ascended and before your descent, it is relaxed conversation and the drinking of coffee in the main, is it not?

A. That's right. (T-263)
