Dear Mr. Levy:

In a phone conversation I had with Mr. L.A. Poole last evening, he suggested I send the enclosed copy of the proposed new FAA Regulation 123. These Regulations, as of two days ago were unknown to the FAA in Fort Worth. In digesting these Regulations, you will find that the mandatory retirement at age 60 will now apply to the Air Travel Clubs under these Regulations (123). At a meeting I had yesterday afternoon with managers and operators of Air Travel Clubs, I was informed of a new law passed within the last two weeks pertaining to discrimination under sex, religion, race, [[underline]] age [[/underline]], etc. These men feel this new law will eliminate the mandatory retirement at age 60 on the Regulations 123 pertaining to Air Travel Clubs and also under 121 pertaining to air lines.

I hope this is something you can get your teeth into and get that 60th birthday retirement kicked out of the picture.

Best regards,

Ralph G. Francis
