I really enjoyed my visit with long-ago friends at the recent convention. The last one I attended before Atlanta was Vegas, a number of years ago. I appreciate the work all the volunteers do to keep us happy.

Thanks again, Ernie

I've been very busy requalifying as a DC-8 Captain with American International Airways.

I lost my right leg below the knee in a DC-8 crash in NAS Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in 1993. It has taken me about five years to recover from the injuries that I received.

Best Regards and Happy New Year, Tom

John (Billings), you probably don't remember me, but I use to fly with you on the Martin 404 out of New York when I first started with Eastern.

Getting the REPArtee in the mail is always such a treat and both my wife and I read it from cover to cover as soon as we can.

Keep up the good work and hope to see you on the 1999 Cruise.

Sincerely, Joe
