Mr. Benjamin Schaffer
11 West 42nd Street
New York 18, New York. September 17, 1952.

Dear Ben,

I received yesterday the deed to our new home. I have also received previously, The Contract and the Policy of Title Insurance.,Mr. Mc Laughlin has sent me a copy of the extension of the mortgage agreement. I believe that winds up this business of the purchase of our home.

The Wender Brothers have done none of the things that they agreed to do. A you probably recall they agreed to complete their work prior to September 15th. Well September 15th has come and gone and Wenders and their workers are conspicuous by their absence.

Ben, Connie and I appreciate very much all that you have done for us. However our appreciation and thanks we feel are not enough. Although we never discuss remuneration for your services previously, it has always been in our minds to bring up this subject some wheres [[where]] along the line. Would you kindly forward your bill.

With best personal wishes and kind regards, I am.

Sincerely yours,

Michael A. Gitt
