For your information, material withheld on the basis of Privacy Act exception (j)(1) concerns intelligence sources and methods encompassed by those portions of systems of records which the Director of Central Intelligence has determined to be exempt from access by individuals pursuant to the authority granted by this subsection and regulations promulgated thereunder (32 C.F.R. 1901.61 et seq.). Information withheld on the basis of exemption (k)(l) in this instance encompasses those portions of all systems of records which the Director of Central Intelligence has determined to be exempt from access by individuals pursuant to the authority granted by this subsection and regulations promulgated thereunder (32 C.F.R. 1901.71 et seq.) because the material is properly classified under the terms of Executive Order 12065, hence exempt from release under exemption (b)(1) of the Freedom of Information Act.

Enclosed you will find a copy of those portions of each document which it has been determined on appeal can be released to you. In accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act, you have the right to seek judicial review of the above determinations in a United States district court.
