NOW I DON'T WANT YOU TO THINK THAT I WAS BRASH INSAYING [[IN SAYING]] THAT I HAD SEAPLANE EXPERIENCE, AS A MATTER OF FACT I HAD A DEMONSTRATION RIDE IN A SEAPLANE AN AS WATER EXPERIENCE, SINCE I WAS TWELVE YEARS OLD I HAD BEEN AROUND BOATS AND SAILED THEM SO I HAD CONSIDERABLE SEA EXPERIENCE AND WITH MY KNOWLEDGE OF AIRPLANES I FELT CONFIDENT AND IT WORKED OUT.

THAT YEAR I HAD FIVE DIFFERENT JOBS. EACH ONE WAS A NEW EXPERIENCE AND AN IMPROVEMENT IN MY FLYING EDUCATION. MY NEXT STEP UP WAS AN INSTRUMENT RATING. SO I WENT BACK TO ROSEVELT [[ROOSEVELT]] FIELD AND BEGAIN TO TAKE TRAINIG IN INSTRUMENT FLYING. WINTER FLYING WAS SCARCE AND NOBODY TO PAY A PILOT
