Class Poem

Here's to Our High School
Dear Old Washington High
May you never be forgotten
After we've said "good bye."

Your class rooms we'll ever remember
And your good old principal too,
Dear Old Washington High School
We'll always remember you.

O! Washington we hate to leave you
Tho we know we cannot stay;
But O! how lonesome we will be
When our books are laid away.

With joy we once did greet you
But with sadness we depart;
And tho' we are to leave you
We go with an aching heart.

When folks my school should like to know,
We'll look them in the eye
and say with pride and gladness,
"We hail from Washington High."
