Asst Com. &c}

Sir -
We have honor to state that some time last fall We forwarded a communication to Mr. R.E. Farwell, agent for the Bureau, requesting an arrangement whereby our account of one David Gonal for labor performed on the crop raised at this place by the Government, the Brandon farm, could be paid.
Major Bond, agent at this place, was directed, by your order, to have his amount calculated and paid to said Gonal. Bond intrusted the matter to Captain Headly 101th Col'd troops then stationed here. Capt Headly was on ordered away and mustered out of service before any money had been collected, and the matter dropped there.
Dr. Cobb, successor to Maj Bond, knows nothing about it.
As agents of Mr Gonal, we again respectfully renew our request for some arrangement by which the said account can be paid. It amounts to $111.90
