I have the honor most respectfully to ask for instructions on the following point

Two colored men have a Suit in the Circuit Court  The Court renders a verdict in favor of Plaintiff for 117 Dolls & cost — Defendant pleads no property but such as the law allows him 2 Horses 1 Wagon 1 Cow pigs &c &c & the Sheriff reports on an order to seize & sell no property — 

Question — Can I seize a part of this property to pay the 117 Dollars — 

The debt was for 8 months labor as a Blacksmith last Year —
