Respectfully returned to W.O. Sizemore, Sup't &c. It seems that the mule in question was the property of the U.S., and that an officer of the Government traded it to Jerry Kyle, and as a matter of course, Jerry has the best title to the animal, although the transfer of the property was irregular.
