George Everett states that he heard him say that all he cared for the niggers was that he could get their money.

W. Wammock stated that he has a son going to that school for the last sixteen months and that he whipped his boy severely upon the slightest pretense. He whipped him with a cow hide in the fall so severely that the marks of it was on his neck for a fortnight.

Jake Thomas stated that Mr. Sharp spends nearly all his time in the Billiard rooms and that he drinks very hard in fact more than any other man in the town. He knows a little girl about 10 years old. he does not at the present moment recollect her name who after being three months at school did not know her A.B.C. He furthermore states that Mr. Sharp does not pay praper attention to the school.

Morris Belcher states he paid Mr. Goodwin for getting a house rented to him.

All these things although apparently trivial are in the eyes of the col'd people sufficient grounds to ask for the removal of all the parties connected or working in their behalf at Lebanon Tenn.
