Dear Joan and Bill:
How are you? We are well and busy.
A friend artist, David Cook, who is printmaker, is looking for a Los Angeles Gallery for his prints. They are beautiful etchings, realistic subject matter (nudes, landscapes, flowers). Could you suggest any gallery that will handle his prints? Did anything happen on the door? I just assume nothing did since I haven't heard from you.
My show in Rochester was favorably reviewed. 2 sculptures have sold so far. It will go to the end of this month.
A New Yorker, who had bought one in 1955, is buying a new sculpture. He will be the first to buy from my new series. Before I sent it to him I will show it at the SF Museum in a July show of new drawings and sculpture.
Gere Kavanaugh was up here and told me that Morris was or is in Japan.
Love,
Ruth (signed)
