Dear Ruth,

Thank you for your nice note.  Glad everything returned o.k. We miss your doors; Morris said before he went to Japan, that he wished we could keep them.

Have you seen Ninfa?  Please give her my love when you do and tell her that I'll write to her very soon.

As you know, Doug McKlleland of the Scripps Art Dept. borrowed some of your drawings for a drawing show, and they will return them directly to you.

Thank you so much for your generous gift. We chose Budding Plane Trees, and are having it framed a la Asawa, in silver.
