Dear sir being conversant with the fact that your Brother while acting [[strikethrough]] with [[/strikethrough]] as agent of the freed mans Bueaurea agreed with the coloured men here to pay for the lumber and sash door & so on for a shoothouse if they would errect one they did so and Mr Wm McMurry after writing to him got the following on the subject which I copy.
