I respectfully make my report for the Month of March 1866. Viz. 
1st. The number of contracts entered into = 25 
2nd. The number of Labourers ~  ~ = 25.
3rd. No. Day Schools ~ Several fine Sunday ~ Schools in my County in operation ~
4th. Fines and forfeitures - none. ~
5th. Orphans and abandoned minors Bound by the assistant Commissioners order = none
6th The State of Feeling towards the Bureau and its officers here are hard with one part of the People, ~ While tho another part are willing to comply with its Laws.
There are some that want Children Bound to them, but are not willing to Obligate themselves to educate them.
You will please inform me [[strikethrough]] to [[/strikethrough]] what to do in this particular; I am disposed to do the best I can for them, (particularly in Education) But intend to carry out your instructions in full.
An answer to this is respectfully desired. There are many cases now before me for decision.
