The two boys were employed by Robert Rhodes who lives at Walls station five miles north of Pulaski. I had Rhodes arrested he was held in the sum of Two Thousand Dollars for his appearance at the next court.

Rhodes is a very bad man, he is rich consequently has great influence. he ought to be hung but will probably get off without any punishment.

Nov 17th William P. Kennedy whipped Elizabeth and Louis Kennedy (Cold) very severely, he was arrested and tried before Esq Abenathy and fined two Dollars.
