John Lawrence, Supt.-Davidson Co. reports.
"I have the honor to report no outrages as having been committed upon the Freedmen of this county, during the month of December 1866.

W. H. Goodwin, Supt-Smith DeKalb & Wilson Cos. reports
"Your Supt for this Sub Dist would further report the feeling towards the colored people in this Sub Dist as continuing favorable on the part of the citizens, and contracts are to a great extent being made by planters with old hands, and that without application to the Supt. 
Your Supt regrets to report that the building leased and repaired for a colored school at Alexandria is completed buy no teachers have as yet reported to take charge of the same, but hopes that in many days to be able to report the said school is successful operation.  

Geo. E. Judd. Capt & A.C. and Supt. Williamson & Giles Cos. reports December 31st as follows.
