in this county for issue this month, and am informed that some assistance has been received from the north by the Relief association which will be distributed during the month.

In addition to the Government issue I have expended Forty Six 10/100 ($46.10) dollars, of the freedmen Sanitary fund in my hands for subsistence stores and wood, on the order of a committe on charity composed of colored people (some of whom were on the committe who collected the fund) the recipients being colored people who have not recieved charity from the Relief Association. This Committee have also engaged a Physician to visit and vaccinate colored children and indigent adults to the number of (400) four hundred, those who may require it, his services to be paid for from the fund. It is believed that this number will cover all of the colored children and indigent adults who will require. Vaccination in this city, and adjacent to it.
