Your Supt not being aware that the case would be called at this time of the Circuit Court now being holden in this county has been forced to employ counsel to assist in the prosecution and trusts that his action in the premises will be sanctioned by his superiors under the circumstances as time was not allowed to your Supt to inform Head Quarters, and the rigorous prosecution and result of the trial being of vital importance to the colored people in this community."
