General.
In compliance with instructions received from the Asst Com'r. I have the honor to make the following report of the opperations of the Bureau in the Nashville Sub District for the month of February 1867.

Joel B. Smith, Agent for Coffee County reports,

It is to be regretted, that the Supt cannot report as favorably upon the peaceful relations between the white and Col'd citizens of this county, as it has been his pleasure heretofore to do.

While disturbances and bad feelings do not exist to such an extent as to be considered general, yet the proper and immediate remidies that should be enforced by the civil authorities to suppose wrong has in some instances
