neglect and refuse to take action as your Supt has knowledge of other cases of a like nature. 

in closing this report I would remark upon the very favorable prospects of the Colored school recently established in Lebanon in the County of Wilson and of the increased interest in the education of the freedmen and their children, by the white citizens of this community, and trusts that through the liberality of the Government and through this Bureau that a Normal School for colored children may soon be established at the point above named.

Capt. Geo E. Judd, V.R.C. Agent for Giles and Williamson Co thus reports. There has been no trouble in my District between the white and Col'd people during the past month.

Everything has been uncommonly quiet.

The freedmen have no trouble in getting work. I know of no suffering, there is certainly no need of any.
