About 1000 rations will be required for this month, which I trust will be forwarded at an early day, so that the relief which is given and needed may be immediate. 

Moses C. West, Agent Marshall Co. reports March 1st 1867 as follows.
There has been but little complaint between the freedmen and their employees about settlements where there is complaint I advise them how to get the benefit of the law and statues and I can attend their trials. I am glad today the offices generally impartially enforce the law.

There has been no complaint of personal abuse the past month.
