There has been but little drunkeness among the freedmen at this place although many of them are habitual drinkers.

The Criminal Court of Rutherford Co is now in session and the case of the cold. soldier Albert Ellis Co. "F" 111th U.S.C. charged with the facts but the sentence severe in the extreme.
