Wyatt Prince complains that you have a mule belonging to him and that you refuse to give him up. This mule was obtained from the government. Your Brother, James Battle had the use of Prince and at his death you took possession of him
You will turn this mule over to Wyatt Prince of it is his property - or call at this Office and explain the matter and save further trouble. If more convenient you can write.
