According to agreement I am to give Alfred & his first two children - Mary & Cato One third of all the corn and cotton they make and they are to do reasonable work. & [[crossed out - illegible]] failing to do so they claim the right to hire hands to work the crop at Said Alfred's Expence he to pay for the same out of his part of the Crop.

Said Alfred is to govern his children & family and see that no impertnance is given my family in any way whatever, & said Alfred is not to suffer large congragations to assemble too frequently on my Premises.

All of which we are both to sign and comply with in good faith.

Alfred's wife is to live on the above land for said [[?]] & have the benefit of one of Land pics
