Contract of Agreement between Mrs. Jane Agan on one part and Peter Times a freed man one the other Mrs. Jane Agan rents to Peter her tendable land for which he is to give her one third of the corn and one fourth of the cotton the thinest of the Land to be put in cotton and Best in corn Peter bonds him self to make a fence sufficient to make a crop under for which Mrs. Agan is to pay him one dollar per hundred for makin and putten up rails. Peter is to keep her in fire wood and fires for which she is to pay him in the use of farming tools and the hire of his horse when she is not neading them. This December the 28th 1865

Said Hopper to pay the above named Freedman as follows Allen, is to have sixty dollars, Omat is to have sixty dollars, Phillis is to have fifty dollars Said Freedmen are to furnish there own cloths & pay their own Drs bill
