Articles of agreement Between D M Pruitt of the first part and Matilda Pruitt of the second said D M Pruitt  of the first part agrees to furnish said Matilda Pruitt ten acres of Land five to be cultivated in corn & five in cotton said D M Pruitt agrees to do or have the plowing dun on said ten acres of land & said Matilda agrees to do the howeing in said D M Pruitt crop said Matilda agrees to Bord & clothe herself for said year. Said Matilda agrees to cook was milk and do such house work as is usualy don in the hous  said Matilda agrees to help repair the fencing & said Matilda is at liberty to hire a boat until said Pruitt gets redd to repair fencing Witness our hands at office this the 28th Dec 1865
