Know all men by these present, that I J.H. Robinson of the one part and Abram Bunting of the other part witnesseth.
That for and in consideration of the services of the said Abraham Bunting and his family on the plantation of the said J H Robinson that the said J H Robinson is to furnish the said Abraham Bunting fifty acres of land two horses or mules with corn to feed them and all necessary tools for farming - and Abraham Bunting on his part agrees to cultivate the land well and to attend to all needful repairs of fencing ditching manuring sprouting and is to remain at home as in Times past and devote his whole time to the cultivation of his crops and doing necessary repairs and is to conduct himself in a respectful and obedient manner and cause his family to do the same. And if the said Abraham Bunting is not able to furnish subsistence for himself and family I J. H. Robinson agrees to furnish the same and charge the same to Abram Bunting agrees to give said Abram Bunting one half of all crops raised by him
