State of Tn Hardeman Cty Jan 4/1866 Agreement between Mrs Virginia E Hunt and Albert freedman for 1866 Mrs. Hunt agrees furnish thirty acres and to cultivate this year Said Albert Crawford agrees to work himself and wife to cultivate said land in corn and cotton in good farmer like style to pay all his and familys expenses in all things to cut and deliver 12 loads of wood to Mrs Virginia Hunt at her residence during the year 1866 to cut no timber but Ded timber to be polite and agreeable in all things to Mrs. Hunt and family to permit no depredations to reeper [[repair]] all fencing and Houses &c said Mrs. Hunt agrees to Albert and his wife two thirds of all crops raised by them on said lands during 1866 Virginia E Hunt Albert Crawford Witness W W Turner Joseph C Williams
