Articles of agreement between J R Webb of the first part and James Lahorn freed man of the second part

I J R Webb do agree to furnish Said James Lahorn with a hour to Livin for him Self and formally I furthe [further] agree to furnish Land for him to work and I agree to furnish 2 horses to work Said Land and thare feed and all neccery [necessary] farming tooles [tools] to tend Said Land and Said Lahorn finds his own provisions for him Self and famally [family] and I agree to give Said Lahorn one third that him and I Can make on Said Land. I James Lahorn do agree on my part to comenced [commenced] the above Stated work the 20 day [days] of Jany 1866 and continue work in Said Crop untell it is maid and gatherd [gathered] and I futhor [further] agree to mak up all time Lost by Sickness and pay my own Doctor Bill and I am to be Subject to the concrole of Said Webb in regard to managan [manage] Said Crop
