one half the corn & one half the fodder they make The said James A Rose agrees to board the said Melvina Wilkerson and to pay her one hundred & fifty dollars, to allow her one fourth of every Saturday and to allow her five days for sickness for the year above written. For the above compensation of one hundred & fifty dollars & board, the said Melvina Wilkerson agrees to do good & faithful service, to work on the farm, to cook, to wash, to milk, to be humble & polite to the said James A Rose & family, to be subject to the orders of the said James A Rose, to clothe herself, to pay her Doctors Bill, to loose all time over & above five days lost by sickness and agrees to pay the said James A Rose for all time lost Excepting five days allowed her for sickness at the rate per day of her wages, to commence from the date of this agreement.
