Articles of agreement entered into between Woodson V. Robinson of the one part and Jas Miller, Freedman for himself, Wife & two children of the 2nd part. Witnesseth that the said Robinson agrees to furnish the said Jas Miller with a comfortable house and land with sufficient team and implements to cultivate the same, and the said Robertson is to board the said Jas Miller his wife and two children.

The said Jas Miller doth agree to cut & have wood make fires, repair and keep up the fencing and cultivate the land in cotton or corn as the case may be and gather & house the same in good order and give to the said Robertson 2/3 of all the crop raised.

Also the said Miller agrees to run the waggon under the direction of said Robertson when not engaged in the crop and he the said Jas Miller is to feed and take good care of all the stock on the premises, and further that for the use of the house his wife is to cook, milk and wash and do other necessary things about the house.
