This agreement entered into between Mary K. Hamilton on the one part and Henry Browning and his wife on the other the nature of which is as follows Mary K Hamilton agrees to give Henry one third of the crop that he makes also to feed him, He cloth himself and pay the doctors bills for the year The said Henry is in all respects to be subject to the rules and regulations as laid down by the Freedmans Bureau published in the papers under the head of the department of Tennessee. Amanda I agree to feed and cloth her and two children for her services as cook or to do any house work that I may find for her to do At such times as she may not be cooking to spin or work the garden or any thing that comes to hand. I agree to [[strikethrough]] furnish two home spun dresses and two undergarments her children the same finding her one pair of shoes. Henry & Amanda binds themselves to be respectful and obedient. not leaving the premises without my consent. In my part agree to find the necessary tools &  implements for [??farming]] they agree to replace anything lost or broken through neglect or unnecessary abuse of stock. In testimony whereof we have this day affixed our names and seals or marks Henry paying the expenses of moving his family.
