Under the control of the said W W Farleye They are to go to their Work as early as required and are to work fast & attentively during working hours, they are to have half an hour for breakfast and half hour for dinner in the fall and under spring months and Two hours in the [[strikethrough]] Spring and [[/strikethrough]] Summer They furnish their own clothes & pay their Doctors Bill & are to be charged with all lost time They also bind themselves to do all kinds of work Normally done upon a farm and any other kind of work which the said W W Farleye may wish to have performed, The said Edmund agrees to make his children strictly obedient and will behave and to go to their work early and to push ahead with a pert lively gait. They are all to cultivate as much as Seven acres in Cotton and the Same amount in Corn to the hand as well as pea and Potato patches &c. The woman to have time of Saturday evenings for washing and none are to leave the place without permission In testimony whereof We have herewith set our hands and Seals, this the 29th day of December 1865. Sealed Signed & delivered in our presence on the day and date abovewritten, also the interlining above was done in our presence
