Mr Robert F Jarmon and Henry Jarmon col'd and his wife Minta and little Son Albert; Jess Samson col'd and his wife Rachael and her four children.- William Bridgwater and his wife Cynthia and her four children, and Hannah Jarmon col'd and her daughter Jane and her four other young children. And Harriet Jarmon and her three children, Judith Jarmon and her two children have this day entered into the following Contract. To Wit the aforesaid Robert F Jarmon promises and bye these presents binds himself to the aforesaid Employees to give them the One third portion of the Crop of Corn and Cotton which they Shall raise upon his premises during the next Year which working Under him. He promises to board the aforesaid employees during the next Year and is to furnish the land, Teams And every thing necessary to Carrying on the farm.
The afresaid Employees upon their part promise and hereby bind themselves to live with the aforesaid R F Jarmon upon his premises during the next Year. They also are to furnish their own clothing and pay their own Doctors Bills and all Children not classed as working hands
