This Article of agreement made and entered into this 8th day of February 1866 between B.F. Priest of the one part and Scillar McKinny of the other part. Both of the county of Hardeman State of Tenn  With respect that the said Priest doth fund the said Woman Scillar and give her fifty-dollars in money for this present year  She is to find her own clothing and her children's. The condition of the above obligation is such that if the said woman doth leave the said Priest before the end of the year that she shall forfeit her wages unless she is ordered off before two witnesses and all the time She looses except rainy weather shall be her loss.  the said Priest is to give her time to make her own clothes & children's. Given under hereto and Seals this day & date- above witness
