Swearing or indecorous language to be used in his presence or in the presence of his family or agent all differences that may arise amongst said hands to be first referred to the said Polk for adjustment and if not amicably adjusted then to some justice of the peace or the County agent of the Bureau of Freedmens all tools carelessly broken or lost to be paid for at their value any unnecessary abuse of work stock or other stock on said farm damages are to be paid in proportion to the damages done each squad of hands to cultivate and gather their crop separate all other work done on said farm to be done by the united squads any hands quitting work or refusing to do his or her duty is to be discharged and forfeit what work they may have done to the said Polk he furnishing another hand if practicable no visiting or receiving of visitors during work hours visitors will not be permitted to visit or congregate on said farm without special permission a fine of $1 will be a assessed for every violation of any of the stipulations of this contract or a violation of any plane well understood order is required to work on said farm, no guns pistols or live stock will be allowed on said farm without special permission.
