Articles of agreement made and entered into this 11th day of January 1866 between Mrs Annie March on the one part and Freed Laborers Patram, Phillip & Westley on the other part. Witnesseth that I Annie March do agree and bind myself to furnish the Said Freed laborers whom names are above written, with Quarters and Fuel two hundred pounds of Pork each and to furnish them with land teams and all things necessary to make a crop and to give them the one fourth of the Cotton and one fifth of the corn made by their labor on my plantation,
the Said Fred Laborers Patram Phillip & Westley promise on their parts to be industrious faithful and obedient to all orders of the Said Annie March and to work under the directions of herself or agent, for and in consideration of the terms above stated.

This contract to commence with this date and close with the year 1866.
Given in Duplicate at Jackson Tenn This 11th day of January 1866.
