Transcription Notes:
"bring to" to cause a ship to remain stationary by arranging the sails. Tenerife - is the largest and most populous island of the Canary Islands. Empty cells use | |, not | --- |. " may NOT mean "ditto" in the third column. The reason I say that is that the second set of twelve hours has a " in the third column, but there is no number in the set above it to copy from. I think it means something other than "ditto". It could mean they weren't moving at all. There are some gaps in the transcription which are represented by spaces shows as "___". Attempted to transcribe the first section in the top right side on page 18.
