I have with me --um over here, Arturo Rodriguez y Balthazar Rodriguez. They're, they're coming from the area of--of Texas which is right near the area of the border, I should say, which is right near the Big Bend Park, for those of you who know the Big Bend Park.

Arturo, um, excuse me, Adolfo works in the trading post in Lajitas which is right at the entry to the Big Bend Park;

and Baltazar is from Paso de Lajitas which is a small village across the river from Lajitas.

Um-On my other side I would like to introduce Joe Mendieta. Joe is from Kingsville, Texas and he works on ranches. He's worked- He worked on the king ranch hasta ochenta y cinco? til 85 on the king ranch, now he works on another very large ranch which he will tell you about once I get done talking.

And Armando Flores from Laredo, cierto?- from Laredo Texas. He is a blacksmith and a metalsmith and is working with a whole bunch of the artifacts. I am going to let them introduce themselves and then tell us a little bit about the things they brought with them.

This is called a "horsehair" and out of horsehair they are used to make reigns, ropes, back in the 60s. And now I brought it down to make ties, headbands, belts, keychains, different stuff out of it. It's cheaper to go buy a rope then to make one out of horsehair.
