Dear Sir:-

Referring to my letter of October eighteenth, I wish to have made a suitable die for the Smithsonian seal.

You have already a copy of the seal for use in designing the Hodgkins medal, and I write thinking that you may perhaps wish to recommend some slight change, to adapt the seal to an embossing die.
