My dear Sir:-

Referring to my letters of December 20, 1893, and January 4, 1894, I am anxious to have the design for the Hodgkins medal completed, so that it may be cut, as the medal must be struck by the latter part of June, since it is to be awarded in July.

Can you give me an idea how long this will take, including engraving, and can you also commend me to a suitable engraver?

I am very truly yours,

S P Langley
Secretary.
