Dear Paul:

I hope that all continues to go well at the Archives in San Francisco. All continues to go well for us here in Seattle. As usual, it has been a very busy year. We are now in the fourth week of the spring quarter with six weeks remaining. Time seems to move so fast.

This is especially to let you know that the first carton of materials for the Archives is being mailed to Washington, D.C. today...Monday, April 14th. There will probably be another mailing sometime this summer.

Please find enclosed the following:

1. A copy of my letter informing the Archives in Washington, D.C. that the carton is on the way.

2. A copy (forwarded to the Archives) of a list and number of the materials that are included in the carton.

Please find enclosed also, a copy of a letter that I have received from August L. Freundlich of Syracuse University. As yet, I have not heard from Dr. Don Anthony.

Again, I thank you for your assistance and hope that all continues to go well.

Regards,
Jacob Lawrence
