Dear Mr. Lawrence:

SITES is very pleased to be working with District 1199 to develop the traveling exhibition, IMAGES OF LABOR, which includes your work. This letter is to thank you for participating in the project and to request your permission to photographically reproduce the work for publicity and educational purposes. (Under no circumstances would SITES' reproduction photographs serve commercial purposes.) If you agree to grant SITES reproduction rights for the traveling exhibition, please sign below and return the original letter to me in the enclosed, franked, self-addressed envelope. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

The tour of IMAGES OF LABOR is scheduled to begin this summer, immediately following the April showing at Gallery 1199, and to continue for two years. SITES will regularly monitor the condition of the works on loan for the exhibition and maintain close communication with Gallery 1199, about the details and progress of the tour. Should you have any questions about the tour of IMAGES OF LABOR, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Driscoll
