In regard to vouchers for transportation for Mrs. A N McCullough I would state that they were found with other papers in the office and being without date, were filed for reference to Mr. Buckley where he should come in Your letter this morn was the 1st explanation received, and I return the papers but think Mrs. McCullough must send her transportation orders with vouchers to Washington and where the order is canceled, she can receive 21/100 cents per mile for distance traveled, the Amt transportation costs govt

In reply to your letter bearing date Feby 23rd 1868 inquiring in regard to school reports. I would state that the blank No 3 are for use of teachers of Col'd Schools Blanks No 2 for Sub. Asst. Comr on which he will consolidate all reports of col'd schools in his Sub. Dist and forward wish Sub Asst Comr Report Blank No.4 for wished sometime since from this office the object of asking these report to com through office Sub Asst Comr is that may fun responsible for the schools in their sub Dist. thereby becoming interested in their advancement and giving a new impulse to the educational department of the Bureau, one of the important objects
