You will find several blanks enclosed which you can use. Respectfully R.D Harper Supt Education Montgomery March 24 Cravath E.M. Rev. 59 Dear Bro We can furnish in the City of Montgomery three additional school rooms and at least two hundred pupils who are able to pay the usual tuition fees. Can you furnish three additional Teachers. We think it important that the field should be fully occupied and that teachers should be sent who would remain and hold the schools together during the summer months. We also think it best that some one association should occupy each separate field or district to avoid unpleasant competition. If the A M Association therefore cannot occupy the entire field in Alabama Could you not so arrange as to arrange as to occupy certain points -- fully and permanently. Favorably impressed with the operation of the A.M. Association in this state I 43 very much desire your hearty cooperation and assistance in our common work. Yours Sincerely R.D.
