Dear Sir,
Yours of the 9th inst, Dr. Cloud informed me that since our last endeavor he had written to Mr. Edmunds giving him the needed instructions. If he has not rec'd this letter or if the information is still unsatisfactory let him read and write again after he understands what is to be done I have urged Dr. C. to give all the Superintendents full instructions. If it were my business I [[wd?]] say to have him fully instructed by the next mail.

I can easily secure you one or more good teachers from the North of your County Supt will so direct a & how much they will be paid from the school funds. The Supt of this county demanded me to send for [[?]] for Montgomery & presented them $50 per month. Everything depends on your County Supt I can furnish just as many teachers as you want & secure their transportation to the [[?]] See him and write me again. Do all you can to organize schools immediately.

Yours truly
R.D. Harper
Supt. Of Education.
